libdbd-firebird-perl software package provides Perl DBI driver for Firebird RDBMS server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdbd-firebird-perl
libdbd-firebird-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdbd-firebird-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdbd-firebird-perl *
You will get with libdbd-firebird-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
